Precautions

In the event of an accident, please follow these steps:

Take as many photos as possible of your damage from various angles.

Record (photograph) the location and time (hour, minute) of the accident.

If you have reported the matter to the Vietnam Traffic Police, please submit the investigation report or the traffic accident record.

If it has not been filed with the authorities, please gather as many witness statements or statements from those involved as possible.

Insurance Information

Important Notes Before Applying for Insurance!

Insurance is applied only to the registered individual after registering personal information for insurance. (Register at [Home] - Menu Button(≡) - [My Info] - [Insurance Personal Information])

Applies to passengers under the age of 65 boarding within Vietnam.

Insurance is applied from the moment the user rents the device via the GCOO app until the end of the ride.

If medical expenses occur, please keep the payment receipt and invoice.

Accidents must be reported to the insurance company within 30 days.

Documents Required for Insurance Claims

All photos related to the accident

Identification Document

Copy of the claimant's ID (passport or residence card)

Hospital documents (Submit originals, but scanned files are acceptable if the claim amount is less than 2 million VND)

Medical expense receipt, statement, hospital-issued invoice

Medical chart including diagnosis or visit history and diagnosis name

If there are additional tests related to the accident, such as X-Ray, CT, MRI, or blood alcohol concentration test results, the test report will be provided.

Police Documents

Upon submission to Vietnam Public Security: Investigation report or traffic accident processing record (certified copy)

If not filed with the police: Original accident report including confirmation from witnesses or local government/police at the scene of the accident

Death Certificate Issued by Local People's Committee (Original or Notarized Copy)

Inheritance/Beneficiary Rights Proof Document (Original or Notarized Copy)

Police Confirmation (for loss of personal documents or bank cards)

Exclusions from Insurance Coverage

When the registered personal information for insurance and the actual rider are different

An accident occurring while riding without registering personal information for insurance

Intentional or negligent acts of the insurance policyholder, insured, or beneficiary

If the insured violates the Criminal Code or Vietnam Traffic Law

Accidents occurring during fights (unless proven as self-defense), professional sports/racing activities

Suicide, self-harm (except for attempts to save life), or disappearance not caused by an accident of the insured person

Violation of Vietnam's Criminal Law or Traffic Law

Accidents occurring while using alcohol or illegal drugs/stimulants beyond legal limits

Other exclusions follow the UIC terms.
