Accidental death during the trip.

The total compensation payable to any one Insured Person shall not exceed the Sum Insured for the Personal Accident benefit as stated in the Master Policy /Certificate of Insurance.

If the Insured is hospitalized due to an accident within the Policy Period, PVI Insurance will cover the eligible medical expenses up to the limit stated in the Master Policy/ Certificate of Insurance.
PVI Insurance shall indemnify the actual medical expenses incurred within the scope of insurance coverage in the event that the Insured Person is required to be hospitalized for inpatient treatment due to an accident occurring within 48 (forty-eight) hours after the completion of the trip.

Additional Benefits

Daily hospital allowance due to accident during the trip (limit 1 (one) time only per insurance period)
PVI Insurance shall pay a daily hospital cash allowance for each day of hospitalization within the scope of insurance coverage in the event that the Insured Person is required to be hospitalized for inpatient treatment due to an accident occurring within 48 (forty-eight) hours after the completion of the trip.
VND 150.000/day and maximum 5 days hospital stay
Within 30 (thirty) days from the date of an accident within the scope of insurance coverage, if the Insured Person dies or their injury worsens as a consequence of that accident, PVI Insurance shall pay the remaining difference between the Sum Insured payable for this specific case and the amount previously paid.
If an accident occurs, please follow these steps:

Please take detailed photos of the damage from multiple angles.

Please record (or photograph) the location and time (hour and minute) of the accident.

If the case has been reported to the Vietnamese traffic police, you must submit the investigation report or
the traffic accident processing record.
Period of insurance for each Insured Person: within the scope of a ride, provided that the ride starts and ends within the policy period, calculated from the time the customer rents the vehicle from GCOO at the departure point until the customer returns the vehicle to GCOO at the destination.
Conditions for insurance application:
Customers must not ride while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other stimulants.
Only one person is allowed on each vehicle.
Customers must comply with road traffic laws.
The Insured Person is a customer who satisfies all of the following conditions:
(i) Aged from 13 to 70;
(ii) Has valid information recorded in GCOO's system and/or form;
(iii) Does not fall into any of the following uninsurable cases:
a. Persons with mental or behavioral disorders;
b. Persons with permanent disability rated at 80% or higher;
c. Customers traveling within the Hue Imperial Citadel area
If the vehicle is rented for another person, the person whose information is recorded in GCOO's form and/or system at the time of insurance enrollment shall be identified as the Insured Person.
PVI Insurance shall not be liable to pay any insurance benefits arising in relation to any person who is not recorded as the Insured Person according to the data provided by GCOO. In this case, the collected insurance premium will not be refunded.

Identification Documents
Insurance is applied from the moment the user rents the device via GCOO ap until the end of the ride.
Hospital documents (original submission, but scan file allowed if the claim amount is less than 10 million VND)
Medical report or medical record explaining the diagnosis and details of the examination
Test results, including X-ray, CT, MRI, blood alcohol content, or any other accident-related tests requested by the insurer
Itemized medical expense statement
Medical receipt and invoice issued by the hospital (the receipt and invoice are two separate documents and both are required)
Police documents
Documents submitted to the Vietnamese Public Security: investigation record or traffic accident dossier (official copy)
If there is no police dossier: accident report (original) including confirmation by witnesses or the local authority/police at the accident scene.
Others
Copy of the claimant's ID card/citizen ID or passport
Death certificate issued by the local People's Committee (original or notarized copy, in case of death)
Documents proving inheritance rights or beneficiary rights (original or notarized copy, in case of death)
Police confirmation letter in case of loss of personal documents/bank cards
Exclusions from Insurance Coverage
When the registered personal information for insurance and the actual rider are different
An accident occurring while riding without registering personal information for insurance
Intentional or negligent acts of the insurance policyholder, insured, or beneficiary
If the insured violates the Criminal Code or Vietnam's Traffic Law
Accidents occurring during fights (unless proven as self-defense), professional sports/racing activities
Suicide, self-injury of the insured (except attempts to save life), missing not due to an accident
Violation of Vietnam's Criminal Law or Traffic Law
Accidents occurring after consuming alcohol or using illegal stimulants/drugs.
Other exclusions shall apply in accordance with PVI Insurance's Comprehensive Accident Insurance Rules attached hereto
